At The Yogini Edit, we don't believe in calling something “100% sustainable.”

Every textile has an environmental footprint from growing the crop and processing the fibre to dyeing, stitching, transporting, washing and eventually disposing of the garment.

Hemp is not a magic solution.

But we believe that choosing natural fibres, making considered purchases, creating durable clothing and wearing what we own for longer are meaningful steps in the right direction.

That's the kind of change we want to be part of.

Hemp Cotton: The Best of Both Worlds

Some of our pieces combine hemp with cotton.

Why?

Because blending fibres can create a fabric with a beautiful balance of characteristics.

Hemp brings strength, texture and breathability, while cotton can add softness and familiarity to the hand-feel.

The result is a fabric that feels natural, comfortable and easy to wear—perfect for everyday clothing.

And like our hemp pieces, hemp-cotton fabrics develop their own character with time.

From Plant to Garment

The journey from a hemp plant to the clothes in your wardrobe involves several stages:

01 — GROW

Hemp plants are cultivated for their fibre.

02 — HARVEST

The mature plants are harvested and the fibre-bearing stalks are collected.

03 — PROCESS

The fibres are separated from the woody parts of the plant and processed into spinnable fibre.

04 — SPIN

The fibres are spun into yarn.

05 — WEAVE

The yarn is woven or knitted into fabric.

06 — CREATE

The fabric becomes a garment—designed, stitched and finished for you.

A journey that begins in the soil and ends in your wardrobe.

Wear less. Choose thoughtfully.
Live naturally. 🌿
